In this oh-so-sedimentary moss-based platformer, you will summit a fearsome rockface with the help of a strange friend. Will Rockbert be reunited with his family, or will erosion prevail, separating a family forever? Use your reflexes and knowledge of basic physics to avoid utter and ultimate peril.

The following is from an interview with the developer:

"So the funny thing is, this is actually based off of a game I made about 6 years ago called 'grappler'. The basic grappling mechanic was so fun but the graphics were absolutely abysmal. For HalfHouse's first title, I couldn't think of a better choice than to revamp an old classic. I hope everyone enjoys playing Rockatouille as much as I enjoyed making it!" - Jess Morton

Trivia

• The moss seen in-game is sentient and malicious, but not enough time elapses in game to see the extent of its destructive power
• Rockbert's parents are named Yvette and Jean
• I was heavily inspired by Bennett Foddy's "GIRP" when I came up with this idea originally
